2020 has proven to be a difficult year for all of us. It has also given us an opportunity to be there for one another. As a school of Martial Arts, nonprofit 501-c3, it is important for us to be there for our community.
From self-funding scholarships for young students to learn and practice martial arts, and learn Japanese culture and values of a samurai to organizing activities and events, Shoshinkan has been a partner in the community since 2016. Powered solely with volunteers, highly experienced instructors in Aikido, Karate, Judo, Eskrima, we bring an element of balance to our students, seeking both physical and mental ways to express themselves in a positive and active manner.
Shoshinkan has been featured in Las Vegas local news network as a true partner in our community. With an ever-growing membership, Shoshinkan is the largest Judo USJA affiliate dojo in Nevada and the fourth largest in the Country.
Our current space is well appreciated and regarded and we now need the need to expand our space, welcome more students, fund more scholarships and place us as a national entity on the martial arts map, allowing us to foster more learning in an ever-growing and demanding community.
